Formula and method
Convert watts to kW by dividing by 1000. Monthly kWh = kW × daily hours × monthly days. Monthly cost = monthly kWh × price per kWh. Yearly cost = monthly cost × 12.
Example
Example: an 800W appliance used 3 hours daily for 30 days at NT$5/kWh costs about NT$360/month and NT$4,320/year.
